produced some of the most renowned and top ranking Kathakali artists of Kerala,
among whom the names of Sadanam Krishnankutty, Sadanam Ramankutty, Sadanam
Balakrishnan (recipient
of National Award for Kathakali 2003), Sadanam Vasudevan, Sadanam
Sreedharan, Cherpulassery Sivan, Mattannur Sankarankutty, Sadanam Narayanan Namboodiri (Narippatta), Sadanam Harikumar
and Sadanam Divakaran (Pariyanampatta) are most outstanding.

Sadanam has
the avowed goal of having exemplarily renowned and talented gurus as the
heads of its different faculties. A look

Tours
Sadanam
has conducted a number of international tours. It has represented India in
Soviet Union and other European nations for dance festivals and received
laurels and praises wherever it performed. These programs have attracted
international students eager to learn this classical dance form, to
Sadanam.
Kathakali Sadanam in Europe
Quote from Maison des Cultures du Monde, Paris dated March 12th 1998 says
"From the 26th February to the 4th
March 1997 the Kathakali Sadanam troupe directed by Mr. K. Kumaran gave 7
exceptional and very successful performances in Paris in the Theater of
the Institute for world cultures. These performances opened the “Festival
de I Imaginaire programme".
"The Kathakali Sadanam played the execution
of Dussassana,
and extract of the Mahabharata epic. The audience were delighted and the
authors had an overwhelming success. Everybody was eager to understand and
learn more about this wonderful art, enacted by its masters. At the end of
every performance a long standing ovation saluted the performers. After
Paris, the artistes went to Geneva where they also had the great success."

Kathakali Tour -To South East Asian Countries
From 22nd January 2002 to 15th February 2002
Kathakali Sadanam conducted a very successfull tour, sponsored by ICCR, of
the South-East Asian Countries like Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Philippines,
Malaysia etc.
